Petit clin d'oeil here to Bruce Springsteen, who was standing next to us at customs, on our arrival at Newark last week. A selection of shots from our much-needed and leisurely break, above; in no particular order. Any shoehorning, you say? One thing did stand out on this recent trip - the predominant sprouting of French shops, cafés, restaurants and people since our last visit a few short years ago.
